When the ac is on car vibrates

03 Cadillac CTS with car idlling and i turn on the ac, car vibrates. turn off ac it is fine.the rpms do not pickup any when the ac is turned on.

    I'm sorry to hear that your car vibrates when the ac is on in your cadillac. I feel like the ac in a car is a little bit different to work with than other parts of the engine. Something is not telling the computer to step up idle and is probably an ac pressure sensor. A scan tool will give you that info.

It sounds like you may have bad plugs or wires However if they changed the timing chain I would be very concerned that it is doing what your saying, I would suggest you take it to an independent shop that is ASE certified and has the scanners to test it s you don't destroy the engine. Get someone who has nothing to lose, and spend the shop charge to test the engine and if he has to remove timing belt cover and make sure it is not loose. And do not drive 700 miles you will be stranded and the cost to fix it out of town will be more. At that shop tell the guy what was done but don't mention dealer name or any name for that matter keep that to yourself.
