I have 97 regency and a few days ago it stop cranking, when i turned the switch, there was no sound what so ever,so thinking it was the starter i took it off and took it to advance auto so they could check it, they said it was bad so i got a new one and put it in and still nothing, the battery is good and i checked all the fuses but the wire going into the cellinoid has no fire, any ideas would be great
Check fusable links in your battery cable and starter wires. Do you have power at the starter where the positive cable attaches? Your battery is good? Do you have any power anywhere else?

i have power throughout the car,the door chimes lights and everything works just doesn't have fire on the cellanoid thats attached to starter, i have a volt meter and thats the only place without fire, the battery has 12.4 volts and all the fuses are good, could it be old wiring between the starter and the battery???
