The plugs are not firing, I have changed the coles but still, I don't know whether it is timing or sensor. How can I test the sensor?
SOURCE: FIRING ORDER DOES NOT MATCH MARKING ON TIMMING BELT
replacing the timing belt does not change the firing order. the dist should only go in one way. the firing order is, 1 3 4 2

Use a multimeter to check. unplug the sensor and replace it with multimeter. As the coolant warms you should see a voltage change. I don't know the exact figures you should see but it works on voltage change to close and open the circuit, hope it helps.
SOURCE: changing spark plugs in a 2004 toyota 4runner
check www.4x4wire.com i was just there looking for the same thing and found step by step directions on how to do it
SOURCE: need to know the location for spark plug #5 its
3rd plug back from the front on the drivers side.
Your truck has a coil over each plug. If you have a misfire on #5 (code p0305) its usually the coil not the plug.
