The power brake booster has a bad valve. I can't suggest where to find a new valve for it, but you can buy a rebuilt replacement. They are usually not hard to put on.

SOURCE: driver side floor water leak

Well, you are on the right path; the rubber seal around the windshield could indeed be deteriorating...what may be happening is the water is coming through the cowling and pooling up on the seal there...as the water sits, the seal deteriorates and eventually you will see water like you are now.

My recommendation to you is to take your Edge to a shop and ask them to look for a leak at the bottom seal of the windshield.

The oil pressure sending unit screws into the engine block so you will need to look between the oil pan and the head.I suggest that you try tightening your oil filter first.

it's an 88. You need to look and find where the leak is. Water trails look whitish in color. Door seals, under dash.

Leak under dashboard

The only fluids under the dash are coolant that circulates through the heater core, or if you have a manual transmission a failed clutch master cylinder can leak brake fluid under the dash right where clutch pedal is located. If the heater core is leaking, it usually shows up on the passenger side. If it is just plain water, you need to check how rain water could be getting in past the firewall and under the dash.

TAKES TIME FOR CLIMATE CONTROL ON MY 2002 OLDSMOBILE INTRIGUE TO COME ON

Sounds to me likeya have a vacuum leak and that would cause this.Rigger saysya maybe have a vacuum line off or cracked/broken.There are very small vacuum lines that run under the dash to the control unit.Make sure they're all good to go.Check under the hood for the line going to te round black ball that is the vacuum reservoir on the passenger side at the firewall also.

I have a 2006 ford mustang and the radio sound quit. The cd sound is fine, could a leak in the passenger side dash cause this problem?

I had the same problem when i had a leak on the passenger side dash. my radio went out. under the hood at the top you will have to remove the wipers and plastic cowling. under that is a drainage area with a rubber gromit for the water to feed out. if it is plugged just use your hand to remove any debris in the way. it will drain fine then. after the leak is stopped reset the radio. do this by either disconnecting the battery for a few minutes or disconnecting the switches under the passenger dash on the right side wall

My chevy impala smells like the radiator liquid is burning and the check engine light came i put coolant in there and the check engine light went off but it came back on. it seems to be leaking coolant but...

Check the front passenger side carpet and make sure it is dry. If it is wet, the heater core up under the dash is leaking, which is why you smell it in the cab.

Heater/ac flap on 2003 f 150 won't move---stays on defrost all time

MOST LIKELY A VACUUM PROBLEM .. UNDER THE HOOD NEAR THE A/C RECIEVER DRYER LOCATE THE VACUUM HOSE THAT GOES INSIDE THE CAB . CHECK FOR VACUUM ON IT WITH ENGINE RUNNING. IF NO VACUUM CK THE ENGINE VACUUM HOSE HARNESS BACK TO THE ENGINE AND TO THE VACUUM RESERVOIR. . CORRECT ANY ENGINE VACUUM LEAKS FIRST. THEN CK INSIDE ON PASSENGER SIDE LOWER DASH FOR VACUUM HOSE CONNECTOR CONNECTION THERE SHOULD BE VACUUM ON BLACK HOSE .

1998 Chevy S-10. The heat will only blow out vents

Possible vacuum leak in the heating system.Start and run the truck for a minute or so,after shutting it off listen for a hissing sound. You may need to remove the kick panels under your dash to determine just where the leak is coming from. Then you can determine if its a damper door or the line is disconnected or broken. Two other possibilities. The control head could be broken(this sends air to the different locations)or an under hood vacuum leak. There's plastic line from your engine that feeds into the cab of your truck, that vacuum line is used to control the vent activation. This is take a lot of time to track down, I hope this helped you?
