THE RIGHT FRONT ELECTRIC WINDOW OF MY KIA SORENTO DOES NOT OPERATE PROPERLY. SOMETIMES WHEN I HIT THE DOOR WITH MY HAND IT WILL OPERATE FOR ONE OR TWO TIMES AND THEN STOP OPERATING.
The switch is bad or lose. can it be opened from both the driver side and the passenger side controller? One switch may be bad and not the other or if both switches are good than it is in the wiring to the power window or motor.

You don't say which model. If it's Diesel check you don't have air in the system, there is a hand pump under the bonnet to the right of the engine by the bulk head. If that's ok it might be one of the Injectors.
I had the same problem which turned out to be the No.1 injector gone.

Apparently this is a recall matter and will be fixed at no charge. KIA Consumer Assistance Center 1-800-333-4542. Recall notices were to go out in May/June 2009.
