How do I know if I have a tow package? If I dont what is needed and what would a normal cost be to get one installed?

If you look at the rear bumper and there is a reciever for a tow hitch under the bumper then you have the tow package

2006 Sienna Standard towing specs:

2WD or 4WD: Max Tongue Weight: 200 lbs
Max trailer and cargo weight: 2,000 lbs;
(over 1,000 lbs requires trailer brakes)

Max trailer and cargo weight: 3,500 lbs WITH the factory tow package

As far as I know, your trailer towing package does not include a circuit for trailer braking. These packages normally only supply taillights, brake-lights, and turn signals.
RV sales and service dealerships should be able to help you.

I have a 2006 toyota tacoma, FWD, SBDC with the towing package. The truck has been sitting in my garage for about 4 hours and when I just went outside, I heard what seemed to me a small motor running. ...

If you have air suspension on the rear axle then that could be an air pump which is restoring pressure to the reservoir. Normally this would not take very long so it is possible that you may have a leak or loose connection in the air suspension lines.

What do I need to do to be able to tow a 2125 lb. boat with a 2005 toyota sienna minivan?

If you live near a larger u-haul rental center, you can have them install a tow package.
You can also go to most rv centers for the same installations

2006 3500 4x4 tow package plug on back of truck

Test plug again, this time try with marker lights on and signals flashingand see what you have for power now. The exposed pronge is ground,( if this is the plug l'm thinking of.)

2006 ford e250 van\r\rear tail lights dimmed and now dont work(.)

check the fuses and relays under the hood next to the battery. if they still dont work it might be in the wiring or if it has a tow package it might be in the trailer wiring

750 is fine but from a professional view, you should always replace with what the manufacturer recomends

I have an 09 tacoma with the tow package, ready to install a trailer brake system and can't find the connector under the dash for the controller...

The connector is not under the dash. It is under the driver side seat.

it all goes into the os rear light/wireing loom .and dont forget the indicator bleeper ..it is a legal require ment.and there is a relay to counter act the dash board lights from flashing.
