a short to ground pull pos cable off battery load test battery if good ,l\follow power back to fuse box looking for breaks pinches or other things that would cause a short. Look where the wires go throught the cab , make sure the fuse block bolt is tight if it has one . look for hot spots in fuse block repair as needed good look around any place that power is run to it

SOURCE: kia K2700 makes noise like a drum after i changed pistons ; rings and bigend bearings. i also changed cylinder head but using old injectors

I would need to hear the noise to have any chance of guessing as to where it is emanates from.
