I assume the problem with the cutlass is the same as mine and I will try to take the panel off but would like to avoid this. if anyone has a solution to the latch permanently stuck in the closed position please help. I tried lubrication and knocking it around with a rubber mallet but it did not work.

Open the car door and pull on the release latch that you use to open the car door from the inside to get out. At the same time use a screwdriver to push up the latch on the side of the door. Sometimes the seatbelt gets caught on the door when you close it causing the latch on the side to close prematurely

maybe the wire is severed where the door (drver dr) pivots. thats what was wrong with mine. there is a rubber boot with crinkles in it that hold all the wires together. you can also try replacing the switch board that controls the wndws on the drvr dr. hope that helps.

Your fuel pressure should be at least 40psi at all times. The most common problem is the diaphram inside the "fuel pressure regulator" fails. This in turn sends excess fuel into the vacuum line and intake. I would replace the fuel pressure regulator.
I hope this information helps you, and I wish you luck with your repair.
SOURCE: 1996 oldsmobile aurora oil pressure
The Aurora is a low pressure oil system. The only solution available at this time is to increase the oil weight. I went o straight 30W to solve the idle alarm issue. Some use 20W oil and that works too.
With 20W you will be at 80 to 90psi cold then drop to 20-30psi hot.
I first replaced the oil pressure gauge and it was worse. I put the original back in and it was better. Then went to 30W and all is fine.
Running it that way for a few years now.
SOURCE: hot do i close the sunroof of a Oldsmobile Aurora
Id start by just checking the fuse and relay for the sunroof to make sure they are good. Im not exacly sure, but I think the sunroof fuse and relay are in the fuse box located under your back seat. Your owners manual has a diagram of both the fuse boxes in that car (under the hood to). Id start here. If the fuses and relay is good, I would take it to a dealer, it may be the motor. If you can hear the motor whining but it is just not moving, something may be jammed in the track, Good luck
