Makes siren noise when accelerating

When I accelerate, the car makes a siren sound that gets louder as well. Been also having issues with power...while driving, the lights, radio etc will just go out for a second or two. Not sure if related.

Truth is it could be any pulley on the serpentine belt configuration. Basically the squeal is caused by a bad bearing on anyone of those . You might want to put your ear (be careful) as close as possible while revving to see if you can locate it. If that doesn't work take off te belt and check and see if any one of the pulleys wiggle ( indicting a bad bearing) . If you don't feel comfortable locating it take it to a pro.

Could be carbon build-up on the pistons, causing erratic flame travel in the combustion chamber... 'pinging'...... Decarbon the engine and use a high grade fuel for a few tanks.... also an octane booster can help

Driving a good distance car makes a whamming sound the more Itry to accelerate the speed decreases whinning louder only stops whinning when I pull over to let the car cool down

Have your wheel bearings checked, when a wheel bearing is going bad it hums louder as you accelerate, when you stop or slow down the sound stops. A bad bearing does that, it over heats due to it not having enough grease on the bearing and will hum as you drive and get louder as you accelerate.

Saturn making a whining noise that gets louder when you press on the accelerator

Sounds like a bearing is on its way out in the drive belt system, could be the alternator, idlers, a/c if fitted, water pump.

Disconnect drive belt and spin all pulleys, and you will feel if one is loose, tight or making a noise it shouldn't.

I have a 98 Gmc Jimmy and everytime I accelerate it makes this noise around the front passenger side and it sounds like when you would put a card in the spokes of a bicycle...? Any ideas of what this

Sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing. Could also be a CV. Make sure you know what wheel before you replace anything. Jack it up and spin the wheel by hand. If correct wheel you will hear it. Hope this helps

Noises from axles can be really deceiving. The sound is transfered throuh the transaxle and can resonate through the entire vehicle. The turning to the left thing makes it sound like a problem in the right wheel/axle area. Wheel bearings and axles tend to make worse noise when they are on the OUTSIDE of the turn. More of the vehicle weight is shifted to the outside due to centrifugal force. Thus, if the noise is louder when turning left, this puts the right axle to the outside of the turn and the most likely to be the source of the noise. (and vise-versa) The fact that the noise calms down while cruising makes me believe that it is not a wheel bearing. Wheel bearings can make more noise in turns, however, they usually make a "roaring" or loud "humming" noise that gets louder with speed. An axle is more likely to change or get louder according to engine load more than rotational speed. (Way worse while accelerating or climbing a hill) I would be taking a hard look at the right axle.
