Most DVD players have a tiny hole on the front to mechanically push the internals to eject stuck DVDs. If the player does light up, sometime a thump with your fist is enough to jolt the mechanism. Failing that, you have to remove the player to get the DVD out.
I have a 2006 Nissan armada the duel screens on the seats won't work I made sure all wires are connected but one screen stays black and the other blinks and says no signal
Same thing happened to me. My DVD player stopped working and the 15A fuse for Power 1 kept blowing. Turns out that there was a little metal ring that had fallen into my powerpoint connection on the dash. It was shorting out my DVD player. Removed the ring, installed a new fuse and DVD player is back up and running.
The DVD player maybe locked to a region, to make the player regionless so it can play DVDs from any region the player need the firmware changed. But if you make a mistake then the player will be a piece of junk. These WEB sites shows how to Unlock DVD Players - Region Free Code www.dvdexploder.com/www.download-info.com/dvd/index_new.htm
