Ishorted out the dash lights on my 2008 mazda b2300. I have changed 3 fuses but i still have no dash lights, any ideas

Does the dash have a printed wiring insert or is it a circuit board- remove the dash again and look over the socket that shorted out and make sure all pins are clean straight and not burned. For further repair a wiring schematic will be needed to test the light harness for power feeds for the dash and instruments.

All the lights work except the dash lights. The 5 amp fuses keep blowing and if I put a 15 amp it doesnt blow but no dash lights

DASH HAS A SHORT CIRCUIT.DASH NEED REPLACING BUT CHECK FOR SHORTS IN THE WIRES TO DASH.DONT PUT A LARGER AMP FUSE IN A CIRCUIT TO KEEP FROM BLOWING FUSE BECAUSE IF FUSE DONT BLOW WIRES GET HOT IN THE CIRCUIT THAT HAS A SHORT IN IT AND CAUSE A CAR FIRE.

97 ford ranger dash lights dont come on,tried dimmer swicth nothing. just bought dont know if they just went out or not.dont have owners manual.

It may seem simple but I would check the fuses. There is normally a fuse for all the dash lights. You didnt say if you checked them in your description so I figured I would suggest it. Remember that the dash lights run through the headlight switch so It could be a bad wire or switch as well.

Hope this helps...

Dash lights and tail lights work when they want

the occasional not working leads me to believe it's loose wiring or a short in the wire somewhere

My dash lights don't work.

this got easy after a while 2 ways, i had friends who would not take the time to spend 8dollars to buy a harness connector for a new cd player and would splice everything together like takeing the red and yellow wires and connecting them all together as one. this drains ur battery unless ur cd player can completly power down by the power button not all do... but keep this in mind on GM cars the 2 wires of the same wires like purple the one with a black stripe is ground they go together stripe on stripe also there is 2 extra wires one is ORANGE and BROWN u dont need these dont even mess with them even if u have a connector block them off THESE TWO COLORS IS FOR FACTORY STEREO IF SO THESE WIRES CAN AND WILL MAKE IT SO U DONT HAVE DASH LIGHTS so always buy a connector ond dont mess with these wires block them off and dont ground them out.
