K5 blazer it wont kick down when i get on it

    i just rebuilt the heads and put it all back together but now when i get on it it will not down shift i dont know where the trans vac is at

You can manually down shift it with the shifter.sounds like your kick down cable is not adjusted properly hope this helps

Check your idle air control valve. My 88 K5 was idling very high because the fooking thing was stuck in the open position. Good luck.

My rear window is stuck down in my 1989 k5 blazer.
If you can hear the motor turning but window is not moving, then the window most likely came off it's track. You will have to remove screws and pry off the door panel and replace window on track

You have to stop the truck and put it in natural. It should go into 2 wheel drive then. If you have lock outs make sure that they are unlocked.
