Sound like maybe your a/c condensor fan is not working, should come on with a/c on, the fan sit in front or back of radiator, condensor is bolted to the front of the radiator, if its not working at stops no air blows through condensor and pressure will get high and a/c wont blow cold, while driving air is running through condersor so a/c will work fine.
this is clear that your aux fan cooling your condensor is not working ,your a/c system is overheating and with speed you are forcing air through your condensor doing the job of the fan.
i assume u r refering to the cooling fans,,, if this is so the freon is low ,fans come on and lower the high side ,there fore lowering the low side and the low side switch cuts it off and on,,charge it up
EITHER VALVE STUCK TO ALLOW WATER IN MATRIX OR YOU HAVE AIR BLOCK IN IT. TAKE OFF TOP HOSE AND RUN MOTOR, TOP UP RAD AT SAME TIME, USED A DESCALANT IF WATER MUDDY /RUSTY LOOKING
possible low charge, possible leak, auxillary fans possibly not coming on,check you see when you turn your a/c on,do the fans get really loud occasionally, all the time,or not at all,if not at all ,you have a problem with the aux fans not coming on-
