Fan keeps running after car is turned off and runs till the battery dies

You need to have the alternator re-checked and be sure the wiring is clean & correct. If an alternator is working properly & wiring is correct, those batteries should be charging as you drive.

Well first have you charged your battery back up, if so then try to by pass the ingintion switch by just connecting the two main post of the colenoid with a piece or wire, this creates a direct wire basically from your battery to your starter, if still no luck you will need a new starter located more to the drivers side close to right under the pedels on the bottom side of the truck.

This is normal for a car that has an electric fan system for the cooling system. There is a sensor that operates based on engine temp. When you turn your vehicle off the coolant stops flowing and the water temp goes up in the engine block. The electric fan may run for approximately two or so minutes.

That is nothing to worry about the fan remains running after the vehicle shuts off in order for the engine to cool down. Once the motor cools down sensors trigger the fan to shut it off.
