We have put a new alternator, a new full filter, a new fuel pump and a new full pump relay om my 1986 toyoya gts celcis and we know its not the battery it turns over to easy. at witts end

Power not reaching pump while in tank. Check for bad fuse or relay in power line to pump.

run fault codes and check for cam / crank position sensor . Check that the cam shaft is turning ( broken timing belt/chain) check immobiliser is operational

OPEN THE AFM COVER SHORT PIN 1 AND 2. THIS IS THE PUMP SWITCH. TURN IGNITION KEY TO RUN POSITION. YOU SHOULD HEAR A WHIRRING SOUND FROM THE PUMP IN THE GAS TANK.
ALSO CHECK FUEL PUMP RELAY

In the fuse box is a fuel pump relay, most relays are the same switch them around.

The age 1986 warrants a fuel pump replacement. Check for rodent damage in the fuel tank harness area when you install new pump. Also change the fuel filter.

Fuel pump may be getting weak. If pressure is not high enough the injectors wont open.

replace the fuel filter and fuel pump relay.

FUSE SHOULD BE UNDER THE DASHBOARD ON THE DRIVERS' SIDE. WHEN YOU CHANGED THE PUMP, YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER AS WELL TO MAINTAIN THE WARANTY. I WOULD CHANGE THE FUSE AND FILTER. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW HOW YOUR DOING. BEST OF LUCK

what engine does your lebaron have ? TBI or turbo ?

no fuel issue. check fuse for fuel pump check fuel pump fuel pump relay fuel filter could be pluged.if you turn engine over acouple turns and stop you should hear fuel pump buzz.also check wires at ignition coil for corrostion or broken fuel pump relay gets its singnal for negitive side of coil.
