I have a cadillac fleetwood that will not start it turns over like it want's to start but it want
Turn the ignition switch "ON", do not start. Listen for the fuel pump to turn on. If you don't hear the pump, spray some brake clean into the intake. If it starts, then it's most surely a fuel pressure problem (fuel pump/filter/relay/fuse). Note: Even IF you hear the pump, perform the same test, if it starts, it's still points to fuel pressure and you need to so a fuel pressure test to be sure.
If does not start and you here the fuel pump, check for spark. If no spark, suspect Ignition control Module/coil (depending on model year).
If the fuel pump does Not start and there is NO fire (spark), the computer is not getting information. It's now time for a professional diagnosis as it may be many simple things, from a fuse ,bad connection to one of several sensors.
Check the timing and coil packs and check the firing order to make sure they are correct otherwise it could be a bad PCM

What years is your Caddy. The new 2013 - 2014 Caddy's will not start if the computer senses that something as little as a under-inflated tire. yes.....believe it or not...check your tire pressures. They should be around 28 - 32 psi
