I need to bypass my igition switch

I have replaced ignition switch starter neutral safety switch blazer still will not start periodicly so i would like to bypass ignitition switch

The problem you are experiencing is the security anti theft system. It will literally shut off you starter or injectors to prevent theft (or when it fails, like in your situation) You can bypass this feature and leave your existing ignition as is.

SOURCE: need to locate the neutral safety switch on a 2005 chevy equinox

The park / neutral switch is on top of the transmission. It has a 2 wire connector. the wire colors are pink and orange/black. Tech jk

most gm nuet safety is yellow and purple .....out of ignition switch is a big yellow wire that is crank out and input to nuet saf switch......out of nuet switch is color purple that goes strieght to start selenoid.....purple wire also goes to the crank fuse 5amp.. in the fuse box under dash... this fuse goes to the pcm main computer.. same for auto and clutch

Then the problem is likely the ignition switch, or the neutral safety switch. Try jamming it into park a couple of times to see if it helps. If it does, you will need to change the neutral safety. If it doesnt, probably going to need an ignition switch. Those trucks, jimmys, and blazers are famous for ignition switch problems.

I have a chevy 305 with an older transmission with no neutral safety. The starter that i have has 3 prongs the only way to have the system work is to short the starter and it will start the engine is there...
The neutral safety switch is on the transmission not the starter. If you suspect it's not working, simply unplug it. Just REMEMBER that the truck will now start in ANY gear not just park or neutral. Hope this helps.

Have replaced starter, alternator , ignition wiring, neutral safety starter switch, still happens ??????? Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? Not guessing an replacing parts . How to check the ignition switch?
There are some fusible links mounted with the starter on the cable,check to see if they are burned into,pull on them they will pull apart like taffy.Also,check the neutral safety switch ,try in neutral ,see if it will start.Make sure the negative battery cable is good,this can cause the problem also,see if there is 12 volts on the purple wire on the starter solenoid when starting the engine,if not,check the neutral safety switch,if it is good,replace the ignition switch.

New battery starter was tested still not starting/ they say it might be the igitions switch or still could be starter/cylioniod on top of starter but have to buy them together...?
Yes,they do have to be purchased together,this is a low geared reduction starter,with magnets,instead of brushes,Check for voltage to the starter wire on the solenoid when the ignition is in the start position,if there are 12 volts ,then replace the starter,if not,the neutral safety switch,or the ignition switch are bad.Try this,hold the key to start the car,and lightly tap on the starter,if it starts,the stater is bad.

Will not start due to electrical problem. Thje battry is good. Was able to bypass the starter and it ran.
Main possibilities are the ignition switch itself, or the auto trans neutral safety switch, or a stick trans clutch safety switch.
