Changed aic valve, throttle body sensor, oxygen sensors on my 1.6 liter 2004 kia Rio. Seem to have a problem with the air fuel mixture. Engine stalls out at normal operating temperature. Will hold a rough idle when cold and tend to back fire at times.
SOURCE: ENGINE WONT TURN OVER
sounds like the timing belt it has a interference engine so if the timing belt broke you could have bent rods and cracked pistons or worse. good luck
SOURCE: kia rio 2002 camshaft pos. sensor just replace still light check
check the belt,if its out it will flag up this code, your car will run on sequential firing from the crankshaft sensor, failing that put an oscilloscope on the signal wire at the sensor and ecu its possible the ecu might not be seeing the signal, start with the basics first
SOURCE: 2001 kia rio engine looses power
try your crank shaft sensor, sounds like the same problem i had , had crank shaft sensor replaced and it drove fine afterwards. maybe go to auto zone or something and see if that code comes up

It may me the Transmission Modulator Value.
a small diaphram value that measures pressure and tells the transmission when to change gears. If the diaphram is leaking it never can measure the right pressure. its on the transmission housing. Just disconnect and screw it out.
