2011 Avalon high pitched whistle

2011 Avalon has a high pitched whistle that seems to come from front of the car. Dealer said it was the mirrors and replaced side mirrors. Still whistles in the 65 to 70mph range. Not the mirrors. Returning to dealer tomorrow. Anyone else been able to get this same problem fixed?

The noise might come from new tyres. Try changing them if you can with someone with the same sort of car or swap the twp front wheels to change the direction of spin. Let me know how you go, Linda.

When we get up around 70 mph on the freeway there is a high pitched whistling noise. Are there any common problems with trailblazers that might be causing this?

Ive seen this on trucks with foldaway mirrors. The wind whistles through where the mirror mounts to the base. Try putting a piece of tape over it and driving to see if it stops.

2004 ford freestar 4.2L engine...high pitched

this sounds odd but mine did this when i replaced the wipers. it seems the design of the wiper frame was making a whistle at higher speeds. the freestar wipers are exposed on the window cowl and not hidden so they endure the winds at high speed. it is worth a shot.
