Question about 1995 Honda Accord

I have 1991 honda accord, heater blower motor does run but very slowly in all speed positions i have removed the blower assbly. and motor seems to turn free. is there a speed control that may be bad ?

If you have removed the blower motor, Connect it to a 12 volt power supply(your battery)with some jumper wires.It should turn fast, be careful when you connect it, have a good grip on it, it will jump just a little. If it dont run fast its junk. The other 2 things
1)The fan switch
2) The resistor that slows the fan at low speeds.

Heater is not working

HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.

My heater blower dosent work uless i hit a bump or something and if i hit a bump it gose back off

This is often caused by a lose cable to your blower motor or your blower could be going bad. You can this by removing the cover underneath the glovebox. This will give you access to the blower and harness.

2002 Honda Accord heater blower ok in positions 1 and 2, starts making noise in position 3, and is really loud in position 4. Does this imply need for replacement, or just some sort of tightening?

Remove blower motor most cars there under the left side of the dash. normally 3 screws & a wireing plug. Remove motor & clean debris (posibly leaves, toilet paper, lollies etc... you would be suprised with what i have found in them

The heater fan blower motor isn't working and fuses are good but someone had taken off a add on security sys.t also have no power at the fan speed switch

First check the blower motor relay swop one in the fuse box with the same number on it or listen for a click when you turn the switch on if you here a click then its good.So if the relay is good then check the connection on the blower motor resistor by performing the wiggle test or replace the blower motor resistor.These resistors are known for over heating causing this problem.

Honda Accord 2002 heater blower control works only in the high position. The 1, 2, and 3 positions do not work but the high (4) does.

The heater blower is normally controlled by voltage sent to the blower via a resistor network.
In this case it seems that this unit also called the fan resistor is defective.
I assume that 4 is the position where the blower is running HIGH and in this position the blower is powered directly without using resistor for lowering the speed of the blower. In step 1 - 3 the blower is powered via the mentioned resistor network.

In my opinion the resistor network is defective.
Replace it !!!!.

Blower motor 1991 honda accord ex

the blower motor is located behind and under the glove box. its held to the blower housing by three screws. remove the three screws and the motor will slide down and towards you. to test the motor. apply power to the yelllow/black wire and ground to the blue/red wire. the motor should run. if not you prob have a faulty power resistor.

Heater is out, apparently motor blower is out. Took to local shop where they replaced resistor. They advised not to run heater as it may damage new resistor. And, to order new motor blower. AS a test, i...

Keep using it and see what happens. Might be ok. Does the motor sound different from before?

How do i pull out a faulty heater blower motor from behind glovebox in 91 accord?

BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL

Remove the glove box.

2. Remove Glove box FRAME
3. Pull back the carpet and remove the kick panel. Remove the control unit bracket mounting nuts (4). Disconnect the connectors (5) and remove the control unit and bracket.

Without A/C:

Remove the self-tapping screws (3) and remove the heater duct.
Remove the blower (3 nuts).

If the car has A/C, remove the blower unit according to the sequence shown
BLOWER MOTOR REPLACEMENT
Refer to illustration for blower unit disassembly and reassembly, noting the following:
- Before reassembly, make sure that the air door and linkage moves smoothly without binding.
- When reattaching the recirculation control motor, make sure its positioning will not allow the air door to be pulled too far. Attach the recirculation control motor and all linkage, then apply battery voltage and watch the recirculation control door movement. If necessary, loosen the holding screw and move the recirculation control motor up or down
- CONTROL ROD ADJUSTMENT
  Connect the recirculation control motor connector to the main wire harness and turn the FRE/REC switch to "REC". Hold the air door closed, then connect the control rod to the clip on the arm.
