First off, I'd like to say thank God for a site like this, and thank you for helping me "office drone1". And here is my last question for now. Today, I put on my 94' Grand Prix, the Passenger side power mirror. I then proceeded to check if it works, via the mirror joystick on the driver side. Well...the passenger mirror when I looked over to it worked at first. But after a couple of seconds, stopped responding. Not only that, my driver side power mirror stopped responding too, along with my power door locks. The odd thing is that my power windows still work fine. Just not my power mirrors and power door locks. Did I blow a fuse or is it possibly something more serious?

Since the locks stopped working as well, my guess is a fuse is blown. The first thing you should always do when accessories or lights or electrical things stop working is check all of your fuses (sometimes you'll have them in the engine bay as well as under the dash). I can't tell you how many times I've spent hours trying to track down an electrical problem only to discover that work I was previously doing had made a fuse blow.

It may also be a bad relay but I'd start with the fuses first.

Try to get a jump you may have power but not enough to turn it over. If that don't work you will then need to replace starter. I had the ame problem last week with my 1995 blazer and i put a new starter on it and she fie rd right over. God bless and good luck to you and your vehicle.
