Sounds like a bad altenator. Usally accompanied by starting problems. To check the altenator, disconnect the battery while the vehichle is running, if the engine dies when you disconnect the battery, then you'll be looking at a bad altenator. If altenator checks good, then post back with a more detailed description of symptoms.

SOURCE: 2002 reduced engine power light

You have some kind of ECU problem. You will need to hook to the diagnostic port to find the problem. Your vehicle has gone into limp mode. This enables the vehicle to run, but at a diminished level until you can seek help for the problem. Do not continue to drive it this way as you may cause damage to the engine depending on the nature of the problem.

SOURCE: Reduce engine light comes on with a/c use.

Most likely it is the fan clutch as it is computer controlled. I have had 2 in the shop this year with the same problem. To be sure, have someone check the codes before you start spending your hard earned dollars.

SOURCE: running lights don't work but brakes do. also cant

I had the same problem. There was a short in one of the tailights and it took out the fuse that controls all of these lights. Check your fuses, and then find the short. I'm assumming that your clearance lights have gone out aw well. I found my problem at 1:00 in the morning, pitch black! My son held the flashlight. I burnt out an extra 3 - 4 fuses in the process, but finally found it.

SOURCE: Was driving down freeway when my check engine

Trail blazers are known to have coil packs go bad, and you will loose spark on a cylinder. I would first get the check engine light scanned to see what the computer found. The etc fuse may have gone bad due to a wheel sensor issue, but, get the check engine light looked at first.

2008 trailblazer the emission light goes on and the the car shuts down when driving, it takes a few time to start again and the light is still on. I had it service 2 times andthey tell me nothing is wrong....

most likely a failed throttle body. does the light on the dash say Reduced Engine Power? If so then your throttle body has went into "forced power limited" mode. All 08 Trailblazers have electronic throttle bodies, I would see your dealer if i were you.

The code P0601 means the internal memory of the PCM (computer) has failed self-test. The PCM may need to be reflashed or replaced. The other codes will probably go away after this.

Thottle body sensor, accelerator pedal sensor, restricted air flow...will all trigger this fault light. Go to your local Autozone, they will run an OBD scan for free, and explain the fault codes to you so the correct repairs can be made.
Good luck...i hope this helps, please rate me a fixya.
