S500 AC not working

I have a 2000 s500 the AC was working and now it only blows out warm air. The AC light is on but only warm air. Had it recharged as the manual said it will not work without freon. Anyone experience this issue and if so what is the remedy besides taking it to Mercedes dealership.

Hello
Probably short on AC gas , as if law on AC gas the compressor would not work as a compressor protection mode. Check if AC gas is low and pressure test for leaks

Damper mechanism for various vents is not working properly. If vacuum operated check all hoses and connections for possible vacuum leak. And do not overlook the switch that selects various dampers.

My 2000 Jimmy only blows hot air out of the vents. I recharged the AC unit but stills blows warm air. The compressor works turns on and off so I dont know what the problem is ??
Aircon systems have a control valve or reversing valve which sticks due to non use.Just where that valve is on the Jimmy I am not to sure,but hope this points you in the right direction.
