Reset radio but can't reset clock

I recently replaced the battery in my 01 civic and I had the radio code handy and got that working no problem. But I can't reset the clock. It just flashes the wrong time like your digital clock at home after a power outage. I've tried the usual way of reseting the clock (put ignition in Accessory II, hold down clock button, press preset 4 for hour, 5 for minute) but to no avail. What can I do??

Just press the clock button for a few seconds then press it again for few seconds and it should stop blinking once it stops blinking press the clock button down again and hold then once it starts blinking release the clock button and adjust the hours and minutes

Radio dose not work

It can be issue with radio fuse or wiring issue of radio.
First test the radio fuse.If its blown out, then replace it.If the fuse i checked ok,then its radio wiring issue.Test the voltage.

I have a 95 Honda civic. My cig. Liter works but my radio won't turn on no matter what I do. My clock resets every time I get in the car. I've replaced my wiring harness the fuse in my radio is...

Don't know if yours is one but some 95 Honda civic have a antitheft program. If the battery ever goes dead or voltage is removed from it, it will not work until a program code is given to bring the radio back to life. you might want to try searching 95 Honda civic radio code.

I replaced the battery on my 2008 Honda Civic & now I have an error code 9 on the radio which does not work. How do I reset the clock & radio?

you will have to check your glovebox for manualy, there is also a card with the radio code, if you cant find it then the radio has to be removed to get serail # and then call the dealer; they will give you the code.

Got 1998 Honda Civic - both clock and radio lose memory when ignition is turned off any ideas why this is? Power to getting to both radio and clock but memory goes.

There should be a backup radio (clock) fuse (probably in your inside-the-car fuse box). Sounds like it might not be there, or it is blown. It is normally removed in order to clear trouble codes from the computer.
When you do that (remove it to clear trouble codes), the clock and the radio have to be reset, so it sounds like that fuse may be missing (the car will run without it).
Hope this helps you.

Battery ran down.now radio/clock don't work. flashes Error.can this be reset?

try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.

TSX reset radio code didn't work

Same problem with a 2002 3.2 TL; was jus advised that when OnStar switched from analog to digital it causes memory dump; dealer says it requires "hard reset" which costs ?$?; Acura 800 number says disconnecting antenna may/may remedy.
