Question about Ford Cars & Trucks
After my suv 2007 ford explorer Eddie Bauer v8 was jumped my dash lights backup sensor and cruise control dont work. the mechanic found a bad board we replaced it and still no lights. fuses are good.
Have the CPU program reset using a code reader as jumping produces a surge of power that corrupts the program

The headlamp switch will cause the lamps to turn off. The switch heats up and turns the headlamps off. It will cool down and work for about 10 minutes and cut out,

piece of cake depending on which one you are replacing
basically, just unplug the sensor and unscrew the sensor
they make a special socket for the job but if space is not an issue a pipe wrench works well
the tough part is the fact that they are usually rusted in there pretty good
lots of penetrating oil...(NOT wd-40 but something like PB Blaster) or a torch will make life easier

Testimonial: "It was very easy. I found the oxygen sensor that was connected before the catalitic convertor and replaced it."
