Reset maintance light for LS430 - 2005 Lexus Ls 430

The light will go off once the problem that turned it on is diagnosed and repaired. 1st thing is to have the system scanned for the fault codes in memory.

Correct. It is a Shift Solenoid issue.

PO 430 is a failed exhaust converter obd2 code

has to be replaced as well as o2 sensors

If that is a lexus ecu--use a code reader so you
don't loose data

Any dash light that is on will come back until a
repair is made

Your not resetting your clearing all data

the check engine light has come on because the computor on your vechile has picked up a problem. it could be as simple as leaving the gas cap loose. it will need to be hooked up to an obd2 reader and the codes cleared from the computer. the maintance light would mean that the vechile needs to be serviced and the light reset. your owners manual will tell you how to reset the maintance light.

Your check engine light is letting you know the your car computer pick up a bad signal from one of your engine sensor's you need to have engine diag. done to correct the problem, some car have a maintance light which is just for maintance Hope this was helpful goodluck.

You could reset it by turning the ignition-key to 'ON'.
Then hold down the tripmeter knob until the
maintenance light goes off, that resets it.

go to garage with computer for reseting engine mange

go to auto zone, advanced autoparts, or a certified mechanic and ask if they can reset the codes, it should be free

hold select and reset then turn on ignition while continuing to hold until light goes off
