Alarm continually goes off, car wont start...

I set the alarm yesterday morning, when i left work, the alarm would not disengage with the clicker. Can't start the car, and the alarm has basically taken over.

Ugh, this happened to me. tried a new battery in the fob, but it didnt work. the fob must've stopped transmitting signal properly. i tried unplugging the battery to 'reset' the security system, but that didnt work either. in the end i had to pull the fuse for the alarm and reinsert it. that finally fixed it.
the fob still doesnt transmit.

If you don't have the clicker you will probably have to disconnect the alarm.

I know a quick fix to get it started but you might think i'm crazy to do this:

My 2003 Dodge ram van 1500 does the same thing. I put a small heater on the driver's side floor blowing the hot air toward the door.
I plug in the heater when I get home from workand let it run all night.
The computer for the alarm is under a kick plate near the driver's door next to the driver's seat on the left side. Once it warms up the alarm; it will shut off the alarm and you can start the motor.

Immobiliser wont disengage

I would take off the alarm and see if the problem goes away. If it does you know the problem is with the alarm. I am in the alarm business and will not have one on any of my vehicles unless they come that way from the factory.
