SOURCE: how do you remove the rear wiper arm on a 2008

1. Remove the cap by inserting a flathead screwdriver on the side of the wiper arm to pop it off
2. Remove the nut holding the arm to the motor shaft
3. Now for the hard part, put the flathead screwdriver between the wiper arm and the base of the motor shaft. You should be able to wedge it in there so that you can put slight pressure on the bottom of the wiper arm and the base of the motor. Now wiggle the wiper arm and pull up while you turn the flathead screwdriver to help pop it off. Just keep wiggling and turning the screwdriver to pop the arm off.
4. Once the arm is off it should be obvious why it was so hard to get it off. There are threads on the motor shaft that tap wiper arm when you crank the nut down on the arm. That's why it doesn't just fall off when you take the nut off.
5.. Put the nut on tightly so that it creates the new threads on the new wiper arm.
6. Test it.
7. Put the cap back on.

2009 Volkswagen Routan. My wipers don't work. They will not move even by hand! What do I do please?

If it frozen, that rules out a disconnected linkage. Unfortunately, this is a little known model and whereas I can always find fuse box diagrams, for yours I can't. If you have a test meter, you can test all the fuses without removing them by testing for continuity at the two contacts on the top of the fuse. It may also be the relay.

Google thinks it might be this as apparently they are a badged Chrysler. If it is it is this fuse J20.

I have a 2001 town and country and the wipers will not turn off with the car turned off and i cant change the speed of them either

The wiper module is built into the the wiper motor. First unplug it(on the drivers side, just under the wiper cowling) Look for corrosion. Clean it with battery cleaner, the plug and motor connector. If it still acts up. replace the wiper motor.

Ihave a 2003 Ford Explorer & the windshield wipers won't stop working, with the switch turned off or even removed. The only way to stop them is to remove the battery cable.

Sounds like the park switch in the wiper motor is bad. Some manufacturers allwo you to change the circuit board seperately from the motor, sometimes they have to be changed as a unit

I have one wiper that does not work the other stops in the middle of the windshield how can i fix them

The motor could be bad, but it's likely that the ball joint connections under the hood area under the cowl have become disconnected for the one windshield wiper arm.

The connection of the arm that moves should be checked for being at the correct angle for parking.

Need to replace a wiper motor on a 2002 chrysler town and country mini van. how is this done?

Remove the wiper arms (pop off the caps at the base) and the 15mm nut. Take out the screws that hold down the wind shield cowl lift it away to expose the washer hoses. Unplug the wiper motor (center driver's side) by pulling out the red clip on it and squeezing the tab. Remove the 13mm nut from the wiper motor idler arm and take out the 3 10mm bolts that hold it in place. Squeeze it out from under the wiper transmission, or loosen the lower bolts. You'll see them. Not a difficult job, just take your time.

Hope I've helped.

there is a plastic cap where the arm connects to a post. pop this cap off with your finger nail or small screw driver. this cap hides a nut. remove the nut (10mm socket needed?) and pull the arm off to replace the blade
