See if the horn will sound as you turn the steering wheel hard in both directions. a lot of time there are this connecting rings in the steering whell that make connection with the horn operation. these rings get worn just by driving even when you haven't used the horn. I hope this is not the cause because it can be costly. many times the fix is to replace the wheel. I had a toyota once and also the ole' pinto that had thses symptoms. both cars had the same cause. the toyota had to have another steering wheel. I can't remember what I did with the pinto. ( I do remember a funny story with the pinto, I lived in an apartment complex and one night at about 2a.m. the horn started blowing, I waited for a while then got mad at who ever is keeping me up I stormed outside and behold it was my ford pinto. I think I remember destroying the center of the wheel to get the horn to stop.)))) hope this helps.

2005 toyota corolla horn doesn't work

You can replace the horn. Check to see if the wires connected to the horn have power. Check with a test light. If power is present then the horns are bad.

I have a 2005 chevy aveo and my clock stopped working and my horn stopped working. What do I need to do?

the first thing u need to do is check the horn fuse..the location of the fuse box will be in the owners manual......if the fuse is blown u will need to have the short circuit found an repaired or the problem will happen again

2004 aveo ls horn doesn`t work no sound

2005 Chevy Aveo. The horn button acts as a ground for the horn. The ground goes from the button through the airbag clockspring which is where i lost ground on my Aveo. Most likely need to replace the clockspring or rewire the ground, which is what i did! Hope this helps!

Horn does not work, replaced 20amp fuse that looked broken, still not working, would it be more than the fuse. I only thought it would be the fuse because when you test the horn there is clicking sound...

If you can hear the relay clicking then the fuse is not blown and the horn button is working. The horn itself is bad or has a bad ground. My guess is you need a new horn. klaxon horns rust on the inside and at some point quit working. Buy a universal replacement as original GM horns are very expensive.

I'm having the same problem with my 2004 Aveo... One day the horm was working the next.... nada... I do also hear a clicking sound from the fuse panel... I'm thinking if it's not the fuse it's self then it could be the horn relay on the fuse panel...The clicking might be the sensors making contack but somthing in side the actaul fuse is messed up... Not sure what would cause this to take place..I have checked the horna with voltage and they work..
So now to replace the horn fuse... and if that doesn't work... it's a mouse hunt... maybe a wire loose or something in the steering wheel... Start with the simple things first...

Rear brake lights wont work on our 2005 chevy aveo ????

It sounds like you should check for power at brake pedal switch. Hook up a test light to the switch and press the brake pedal. If the light does not go on and you have power in the wires to the switch then the switch should be replaced.
I hope this helps you out
