Your exhaust has four 02 sensors. Code PO154 refers to no activity at bank two, sensor one.,Typically 02 sensors are good for up to 100K miles, after that their performance declines. You can try removing the sensor and shake it closely, next to your ear ( listen for a rattle). If you hear a noise while you are shaking it. The 02 sensor is junk. The side that Cylinder #1 is on is "Bank one" the other side is "Bank Two". Sensor one refers to the upstream senor (the sensor located before the CAT. Sensor Two would refer to the "Down Stream" sensor. Which refers to the 02 sensor located after the CAT. I hope that helps. Please write back if you have more details or questions. Good luck.

Assuming the plugs and wires have been changed. I would look at the bottom of the coil pack. They tend to crack and short out.

Or if it's got coil packs they will also crack and short out.

SOURCE: 3.5l engine, car shakes

the chances are good for the number 5 coil needing replacement, but before i did anything else i would change that cam sensor, that could be causing your problem all the way around.. hope this helps... setting timing is a big drawn out job, i dont think you will need to do that, timing shouldnt be out.

You need to have a repair shop test your vehicle to find problems

Free codes at Advanced is a waste of your time

A professional still has to use professional tools & road test &
component test the vehicle, codes have nothing to do with telling

I think you should take it to a repair shop, to have it
properly diagnosed & repaired

Your asking what someone thinks--how would we do that?

Your then asking, if you should try something else,AFTER
you were told what the code was,(a misfire on cylinder #5)

Now you see why I don't think it is within your ability to resolve?

How do i repair code p0154

P0154 definition 02 (Oxygen sensor) circuit no activity detected bank 2 sensor 1, You need to test the heater circuit for its 12 volts and test the ground, its basically a dead 02 sensor,If you have a misfire you would have code as lean activivty, basically there is no lean to rich activity for this code to come on

All I am getting from your discription, is that you
have a code & a misfire ,you have yet to diagnose.

Except for replacing the wires, that should last the life
of the car,your doing okey

You now are embarking on throwing parts at it,
not diagnosing.

I can't tell you how to continue,as I don't know
if have any test equip or skills required.

You may have a bad ignition module or other
issues

Again,test,don't install 1 part,unless something
tests bad.

Misfire can be caused by worn out spark plugs, bad ignition wiring, sticking fuel injectors, anything that prevents the cylinders from firing correctly. Good luck!

Engine light just came on took to auto zone they gave me this code PO304 Trying to see what it is

A P0304 OBD2 code is "cylinder #4 misfire detected". The first place to start is your spark plugs. 1. Check condition and for wear. 2. check the spark plug wires or coil packs(depending on which you have).
