Not sure I follow you. The engine temp sensor sends a signal to the engine computer and the computer decides when to activate the fan relays. So if you have power to the fans you would also have power to the high or low speed relay the temp sensor is probably working. There is a third relay for the ground circuit.
hi my ford transit recovery truck 1997 on a p reg has a light on dashboard stating that the the radiator is low but the coolant is full of water. please help
Many times vehicles have a coolant sensor mounted on the radiator that goes bad allowing the low coolant light to stay lit changing this sensor usually takes care of the light also make sure the wires running to the sensor are not shorted or broke.
Bleed the air out of the coolant system,and add more coolant,to radiator,and reservoir,and make sure the cooling fans are coming on,if the low coolant light stays on,remove the low coolant light sensor,and clean it off,it is located on passengers side in the radiator,it has a wire clip you have to remove,and dont loose it,after cleaning it,put the clip back on the sensor,and push the sensor back in the hole.
