755 (why drop the prefix?????) makes his 10x harder.
the FSM covers this , buy one or look online at alldata.com
P0755
the P0 COUNTS ! p means power-train, the 0 means federal std. code.
lets to TCM 101:
the TCM shifts this tranny,.
the TCM sends 12vdc to the solenoid to do SHIFTS.
the TCM checks the voltage at time of this command.
the voltage reads wrong, the TCM is not HAL2000, its just brick stupid
it only knows the test it did fail, and
NEVER whyenter the technician and his FSM book and the steps to find it
the TCM can see solenoid faults 2 ways (at least)
voltage read back at the solenoid (the fsm is clear on this ,read it)
or RPM drop fail. VSS fails to drop or rise pre shift command.
each time the TCM shifts this tranny it looks at the TAIL RPM
and if wrong sets codes.
the FSM actual explains this. best.
now see actual FSM
Actual gear ratio and the Required gear ratio did not match during the CCM Rationality test.
see , unlike my first link (bad net bs)
the TCM does RATIONALITY tests.
that means it shifts and then looks at tail shaft RPM (VSS)
and sees rpm wrong. (tables of valid rpm in TCM)
at an up shift the RPM drop is checked. carefully. by the TCM.
and possible list. quite different.
- * A/T component problems (i.e., in clutch, brake or gears)
- * SSB is damaged, stuck "open" or stuck "closed"
- * Transmission valve body is clogged, dirty or stuck
in barstool lingo.
tranny slips in any gear. related to B solenoid.
by valve body, that includes the actual valve B sticking or dirty or clogged.
make sure the transmission ground strap is no missing or bad.
this IS MY FIRST CHECK on all A/T cars...
the transmission must be 100% perfectly grounded at all times.
or it WILL fail. (TCM fails()
