My intrepid stalls when you slow down and take your foot off the gas, if there is constant gas its fine (eg. off ramp of highway or comming to a stop light) the rpm hits about 500rpm and then stalls, scanning tools says the egr and map sensor is not working properly, had exhaust leak just between the cat converter and resinator, had it welded and car runs smoother but still stalls

Non so to speak without writing a book You just have to check for codes & start a logical diagnostic process of testing You input is critcal for a shop to understand the reason your there You do not won't a tunp-up or anything else You only want the immediate problem diagnosed & resolved Becareful not all shop know a lot or can solve all issues Be part of the solution don't just hand over the key & not be there sometime due their work on your car Ask questions & take notes
give it a oil change and put a new fuel filter on it. you might have to change spark plugs and spark plug wires. also put some engine and fuel treatment. if that does not work put about 5 gallons of premium fuel in.
