I have a 2003 Saab 95 that sounds like it wants to start but doesn't start what could that be? Thanks K

Need a bit more info about that. You need to get hold of an OBD2 diagnostic tool (code reader) , plug it in and read off DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
heres a link to saab.se trouble codes listing, look up the Code numbers and make a note of the codes that your car's ECM throws up.
https://saabinfo.se/en/og-9-5/error-codes/obd2-error-codes/

usual suspects are CPS (crankshaft position sensor), which are in the general area of P0335 onwards in the listing, but it could be a number of other things too. More info required please.

Engine code P1600 and P1449

Hi:

The P1600 code is usually a IMA fault, and the P1449 code is a battery deviation fault.
Both are usually early warning of some sort of hybrid battery issues.
You need to have a system tech give the hybrid system a good look over, but most likely your IMA battery pack is most likely suspect

Engine code P1600 and P1449 what do they mean?

P1600 IMA system malfunction. A P1600 code is a generic code that is set in the engine computer to tell you that there is a Hybrid system problem. In order to find out what is wrong with the Hybrid system, you will need to take the vehicle to a Honda dealer so that they can read the code in that system.
P1449 Battery module, battery module deterioration, battery module overheating, battery cell overheating. Either way you need to take the car to a Honda dealership to find out the actual cause of the P1600 and replace teh battery module

I have the engine check light on my 2001 Hyundai XG 300. The codes I brought up with the OBD2 reader were P0100 P0115 P0120 P1600 What would you suggest is the problem and fix on this I also...

Welcome to FIxYa.com
Description of codes are:
P01600 - Serial cable malfunction-- check connection,
Po115-Coolant sensor-indicates a open or short-circuit in the engine coolant temperature sensor circuit.

The P0401 code is Insufficient Flow Exhaust Gas Recirculation System.

The code is set when the engien computer detects less than the requested amount of EGR flow when the engine is hot and is under load.

What usually sets the code is an inoperative EGR valve, or a carbon clogged port under the EGR valve.

On your engine, the EGR valve is vacuum operated, and there is a little computer-controlled EGR solenodi valve in the vacuum hose that detemines how much vacuum the EGR valve gets. If this solenoid is bad, or there is a vacuum leak in one of the hoses, the EGR valve won't open when it should setting the code.

Since the dealer already cleaned the EGR valve tube, I would suspect your problem is likely due to a bad EGR solenoid valve or a leaky vacuum hose to the EGR valve.

Here is the EGR solenoid valve part number and list price:

P/N 3946038750 $40.59

I would clear the codes first and run engine for two min and re-check codes.

Write to me of the findings and we will go from there.

After replacing sencondary 02 sensor - need to reset computer to clear error code

you can go to any auto parts store and get the check engine light turned off with a obd2 scanner, this will erase the code so computer does not think the problem is still there.

How do I clear the error codes on a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel?

You will need a hand-held obd2 scanner to clear the codes. Advanced Auto store will do it for free if you have one in your area. Other part stores will also do it for free.
You can disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 minutes and replace it, but it doesn't always work. Sometimes the codes are stored in memory and require the hand-held obd2 to clear them

Check Engine light.

Sounds like a bad computer. You may want to have a auto repair shop plug that in and see what they get for codes. If it still won't comunicate then it will need a computer first. That car may have obd1 communications and the parts store obd2 reader won't read it " Link error" see where I'm going with this? That year vehicle could go either way with the communications. Let me know if you need more info and I will try to help you futher. Thanks Dan
