Why would a 95 2.5liter jeep engine after replacing crank sencer start up run just fine then after shut off not start untill jumped and rev up high

Did you reset computer
You can do this by removing battery positive and leaving off for about 5 mins make sure you have radio code though

This can also be caused by a blown fuse, check them all 1st. if you have fuel in the hose, and its cranking strong, try holding it to the floor and crank it longer with a battery charger on it to see if its flooded,

My 95 Nissan Maxima has trouble starting in cold have to press on gas to get it to start

I suspect you may not have enough fuel pressure.Fuel injection requires very high pressure to start car and by pumping the gas pedal the car is flooding itself and that let's it start.

Flooded Nissan maxima 2004

spray aero start into the intake as someone is cranking the motor. If it runs on aero start it is a fuel delivery / pressure problem

I ran out of gas in my 91 maxima and it cranks but it just wont turn over and start is it the fuel pump or an electrical thing

if its a stick/manual,push start it,if its auto,crank it but dont step on the accelerator,sometimes,u can flood the engine when u put fuel in and u crank with your foot on the gas pedal.follow your air filter all the way to the carbuerator,open it and then crank,be careful,u might get a flash bang from all the air flow,good luck

My mechanics say the brain box locked on security. it has refused to start, they've tried all they can but it just wont start, they say the brain box has to be reprogrammed. it a nissan maxima 2000 model....

IF YOU GOT 2 SETS OF KEYS TRY ANOTHER IGNITION KEY.THAT NOT WORN.TURN ON IGNITION FOR 5 SECONDS.SWITCH THE IGNITION OFF.WAIT APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS.SWITCH IGNITION ON FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS.SWITCH IGNITION OFF.WAIT APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS.START ENGINE.IF STARTS OTHER KEY WAS WORN.IF CAR STILL DONT CRANK.THE DEALERSHIP HAS REPLACE KEYS AND ANTI THEFT SYSTEM AND REPROGRAM TO CRANK.ALSO CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE NEUTRAL START BACK UP LIGHT SWITCH IS WORKING.IF FAULTY IT WILL ALSO CAUSE NO START PROBLEMS.

My 1991 crown vic runs great till it gets warm..about 5 minutes, then starts to flood out and wont start back till next day ...then same thing....help!!!!

if it starts to flood it may be the coolant temp sender. it could also be the crank angle sensor. hope this helps.

If your check engine light is on then there may be codes stored in the vehicle's computer. If the car cranks faster than normal then the timing belt may have failed. If you can find an assistant to crank the car while you look through the oil fill to see if the camshaft is turning, this is one test I perform as a mobile mechanic.Good luck and be safe.Please keep me posted

P1130 Swirl Control Valve Circuit Malfunction - With Automatic Transmission Possible Causes

Check for air leaks in the Air Induction system (e.g., in the intake manifold)
Check for leaks or looseness in hoses and tubes between the intake manifold, vacuum tank and swirl control valve actuator
Check for leaks or looseness in the hoses between the air cleaner assembly and the swirl control valve vacuum check valve
Crankshaft position sensor (REF) signal problem
MAF sensor has failed (it may be dirty or contaminated)
One-way check valve has failed
Swirl control valve actuator has failed (it may be damaged or sticking)
Swirl control valve control connector is damaged (check pins for damage)
Swirl control valve circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to voltage
Swirl control valve has failed
PCM has failed
Throttle position sensor has failed
Vacuum tank has failed

P1440...EVAP Control System (Small Leak)
Check your fuel cap & reset code,
