1995 GEO TRACKER ENGINE WILL NOT START

It may be fuel pump pressure, but you need to diagnose before guessing what might be wrong. A mobile auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer can diagnose all the electronic modules and sensors and tell you why?

what years? her ill give examples (no 1.8L sports)
in each case keeping original in/exh manifold of origional
this is called, a Long block swap......!
96 to 95 16v ok ( the crank sensor just sets there, doing zip)
96 to 95 8v no go. ( it will run by ECU while have fuel mapping)
95 8v to 96 16v no go ( missing crank sensor and mapping issues)
95v 16v to 96 16v,(missing crank sensor, move it.)

and you can swap any with harness and ecu. and manifolds.

Does it have a distributor,like this You don't have a ckp sensor

the 1995 has no crank sensor. sorry.
back one post and tell car getting fixed,
year and engine, and donor year and engines.

my wild guess, is new engine is 1995 but is it 8v or 16valves.
you must match the valves.!!~
the 8v is a one injector engine
the 16valve is 4 injectors ,and totally different ECU and wiring.

please id both engines.
is your car newer than the engine?
weve done this many times.

if had 95 G16b going to 97
id have swapped pans, oil pump and crank sensor.
onto new engine.

Yes, with a manual transmission, you're good. An automatic is another story. Manual transmissions do not need the engine running to lubricate it, so towing is unrestricted with them.

With an automatic transmission,it takes 3.0qt(2.8l) unless you also drain the torque converter. Then it takes 5.4qt(5.1l) of dexron Vl.
With a manual transmission it takes 1.6qt(1.5l)of gl-4 75w90 for 4wd.
For 2wd 1.8qt(1.7l) of gl-4 75w90. Hope this helps.

get a mechanic to have a look ,because it could be either ,either a broken transmission shaft or the clutch has burnt out .has a woman been driving this manual?? wearing high heels ??

Look to see if you have a crank sensor it may be bad. Its should be sitting above the crank shaft pully. Just a suggestion.
