2004 Chevy Silverado LT 2500 rear aux power on console not working but fuse ok

My 2004 Chevy Silverado LT 2500 4x4 center console rear aux power not working. front cig lighter and aux power ok. aux power and aux 2 power fuses ok

check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.

Check fuse 55 in the eng. comp. and check the power fuse "alt pwr" 20A in the driver's side fuse panel on side of dash.
I melted my right side power plug with a portable compressor and blew the fuse in the dash panel. I need to get a new power plug now.

Check your fuse box for a bad connection or loose fuse. if all fuses are tightly in fuse box I would suspect a wire on back side of fuse box having a loose connection if this was helpful please leave me a good review

only teo fuse pannals one under hood under black cover and one when u open drivers door on side of dash. (you pull the triangle plastic off and then u see it)

There are actually FIVE cigarette lighter/ Auxilliary Power Outlets shown in the wiring diagrams for your vehicle.
The Instrument Panel [1] Accessory Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter) is protected by the "LTR" Fuse (# 53 - 20 Amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment.

The Instrument Panel [2] Accessory Power Outlet is protected by the "AUX PWR" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash.

The Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet and the (two) Center Console Power Outlets are protected by the "AUX PWR 2" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash. NOTE: If your vehicle is not equipped with the Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet, or the Custom Floor Console (optional), this fuse position will most likely be empty.

on the 04 chevy silverado theirs cable equilizers that stable your cables of your parking brakes check to see if those arent loose or damaged in anyway if so replace if not remove the rear wheels and use a brake spoon to spin the adjuster nut on the o4 chevy their is not slots in the sides of the brake drum or the dust shield so it is a hastle trying to find if your on the adjuster or not but once you tinker with it for a while you will get the hang of it

I have a 2007 chevrolet 2500 hd 4x4 that I pull a 5th wheel camper with. I can't find the aux. power fuse to install to keep my battery charged on the camper. Where is it located.

use a testlight turn on the LS light ground the test light touch the pin inside the lamp socket if it lights look for a bad ground if it does not check your fuses or, run a new power wire under your truck secured with zip ties from the switch
