For the no brake lights, I've heard that the hazzard switch goes bad, which is shorting out the lights. The 3rd middle brake light will still work.

Ignition relay or fuse could be the problem. When you turn the key to start do you hear a fuel pump kicking on and or do you have spark when you hot wire the starter (I know it's hard to check while trying to start it)? You can email me back and I might be able to pinpoint it more.

Car won't Crank/start

With a voltage meter see how many volts are at the starter terminal. If not 12+ volts you have a bad connection. Check connection at the starter solenoid. Does it have 12+volts? Short the solenoid. Does it put voltage to the starter?

You need to proof read your problem, confusing. Motor turning over and one starting are different. Is the remote factory? If not you need to disconnect the power to it and try again.

The way to approach this sreies of issues is to first remove the remote start/alarm from the equation and restore the vans electrical system back to original. From there, if it persists, we can do more trouble shooting. Let me know and I can walk you through the process. This is definately a problem that does require a diagnostician. Thank you for the level of detail you provided!

Car starts with remote starter. The start procedure with key?

Well, it sounds like your ignition switch is bad or the remote starter you have also has an alarm with a starter immobilizer. Do you have the owners manual to your remote starter? If not you can always remove the immobilizer part of the alarm by hooking the start wire back together from the ignition switch that is cut when you hook it up.
