This can be done by using a small clamp and wood block and taking off the door panel to install these things. But fixing it correctly is better.

Damaged transaxle

It certainly could be a damaged CV joint (that's what they are in this car
), and they do make ticking noises when worn.
The test is to drive slowly in tight circles while listening out the windows.
On the other hand it could also be a number of other causes:
- damaged wheel bearing- split suspension bushing- damaged ball joint
I have seen all these from hitting potholes etc. but I don't feel your transaxle would have been affected.

My rear window wont go up, last year the other side broke also,is this a comon problem with buicks, I dont think I have used these windows but a dozen times, has buick ever had a recall on this problem?...

You need to use the windows more often. To put the window up.start the car,go to the door with the window stuck down, now,as you hit the button on the door to the up position,HIT THE DOOR HARD! The window will go up but it may take a few tries.Push button up just as you hit the door hard.A rubber hammer helps get a good hard hit.

Just started ticking and gets faster with increased fan speed. Still blowing great heat so far. Comes from passanger side.

It sounds like you have something that got sucked into your fan like a leave or piece of grass and it is coming in contact with the blades. The faster your fan is running the more times it hits what eery it is that it is hitting.

I just adjusted the valves on a 300 -6cyl. ford. As the compression is now good I hear now a distinct tapping noise. How can I fix this? Thanks.

It sounds like either you have missed 1 tappet and its looser than the others OR you have done 1 up to tight and its hitting the piston . but you can tell the differance between the two the loose tappet is a tick tick and a valve on the piston in a differant sound as its a metal valve hitting a alloy piston ,,so repair it now dont leave it..
