If it is 3.1 engine, I would guess it to be Ignition (Spark) Control Module located under the coil packs.(coil packs bolt/screw directly onto the Module itself)
Best of luck !

check whether your vehicle is equipped with any immobilizer -anti theft system- as these systems are the one which could cause these unexpected situations.

SOURCE: 1992 Buick Century won't start sometimes but has spark in the plugs.

Faulty cam sensor maybe - it controls the injectors. To diagnose, when you get a non-start, spray a V.small squirt of easy-start(ether) and if it runs a little then you have a fuel issue. The spark timing is controlled by the crankshaft sensor so that can be faulty and cause a mistimed spark but usually you'll get a mis-fire in those cases.

SOURCE: How to remove/replace spark plug wire routing clip

Typically, spark wires are encased in a flexible plastic tube which is secured in usually 2 places with special clips. The tubing material gets brittle over time and cracks /breaks easily so patience and being careful are the key. After you remove the tube from its mounting points, you will notice that the tube has a split over its entire length. Carefully spread the split open at on end then pull (one wire at a time through the split. then reverse the process with the new wires..... unfortunately this is even more difficult and requires even more patience... good luck....

1995 BUICK CENTURY SPARK PLUG WIRE REPLACMENT

the best method is one at a time.pull the wire by the boot and remove.then remove other end in same fashion. measure the length of the old wire the the replacement and install making sure that the boots are well seated, you will normally hear a click or feel the boot seat.continue in this fashion until all wires are replaced, then proceed to change plugs one by one making sure that the air gap is to specifications.
do not overtighten plugs ,snug is fine.

How to change spark plugs on 97 chevrolet monte carlo 4.3 liter engine

I can't see how your car would be aany different from every other car. Yoou will need a spark plug spanner. First , take the wiring from No. 1 plug. Loosen the plug by turning your spanner anti-clockwise. Take that plug out, and replace it with a new one. Tighter it by turning clock-wise. Now do the same for each plug in turn. By just doing them one at a time you won't make a mistake with the wiring.

Check a few things, check your spark plugs, spark plug wires, also check your fuel filter, fuel pump, but the first thing that you should check is the ground wire from your battery to the engine block
