How to remove fuel filter on a 1990 es 250

Was able to get the bottom bolt off but cannot seem to unscrew the top bolt off

Fuel pump is in the gas tank.Your ES 250 does'nt have carburation , it's EFI..Not enough info. to help you.Need to know if vehicle died & wont restart @ all or if it was a 1 time stall then it restarted

the marks on the cam sprockets point up and they should align with the marks on the rear timing belt cover (behind the sprockets)

The fuel filter on the ES300 is located under the hood, on the driver's side, by the fenderwell.

SOURCE: I have a 1990 Lexus 250 ES. Brake lights inop.

check the brake pedal switch by connecting a test light to it and ground.

When the pedal depresses you might hear a click or see the button depress.

The test light should light or not light changing as you press and release the pedal.

Another way to do this is to change the brake pedal switch and see if it works.

the casing either unscrews from the top or there is a bolt that goes up from the bottom and must come out.. be ready to catch the fuel when removing..most are spin on like the engine oil filter..but you must bleed the air out or the car will not start..

Remove Rear Seat
Fold the top of the back seat down. My 1990 civic lx has a place to put your key at the top to release the seat. Remove the trunk carpet from the seat back by pulling out the plastic screws. Remove 2 bolts (10 mm) on each side holding the seat on a bracket. The top part of the seat should now slide out. Once you get the top part of the seat out, a bolt should be exposed just to the right of the center of the seat bottom attaching it to the floor. Unscrew the bolt. Now tip the seat bottom up and forward. There are two hooks to the front of the seat bottom. You will have to move the seat back and forth a few times to unhook them and then pull the hooks out of the slots on the floor.

How do i change a 1990 toyota tercel dx fuel filter
remove the fuel pump fuse, attempt to start vehicle, if it runs then dies that's o.k., this will remove any fuel pressure in the line. next trace back the bigger fuel line to the firewall and you will find the fuel filter. with a 17mm socket remove the top bolt into the fuel filter, this is a banjo bolt so be careful not to loose the two washers. remove the lower nut which is a flare fitting and then remove the 10mm bolt holding the fuel filter bracket to the firewall. remove the old filter and install the new one and reverse the procedure.

the fuel filter is located in the engine compartment on the driver's side. You have to take off the air vent connected to the air filter to get better access. Then, unscrew the bolts on the top and on the bottom of the filter and unscrew the screws on the metal belt wrapped around the filter to release it. Excess petrol will spill out. Once this is done you can put the new filter in place and you are finished. Replacing the fuel filter in and of itself is very easy but the location on this particular model makes it much more difficult and tedious.

it will probably be just to the right of the oil filler you need to undo the 4 allen key bolts and remove the housing lid the filter should be inside. when removed undo the drail on the bottom of the housing and let the diesel drain off then tighten drain. fit new filter but before refitting the lid work the primer pump until the fuel comes to the top of filter. refit the lid and tighten 4 bolt. pump primer then start car

How do you change a toyota celica 1990 fuel filter
May depend on what country and engine you have (, anyway filter is on the left hand side on the fire wall, you will need a "crows feet" spanner to undo the line that is at the bottom of the filter, the top union bolt can be accessed with a regular wrench. NOTE: undo the union bolt SLOWLY so as the fuel system is under pressure., then undo the bracket that hold the filter. Hint:the genuine toyota filter is usually far better quality than some aftermarket ones, it also comes with the bracket.

Right under the master brake cylinder, its really hard to replace it. It has 2 screws, one bolt on top and the bottom one needs to be screwed off under the car
