I smoke while the condition is on so I face a problem of bad smell from the condition. Can I clean the aircon. filters & how??

Does the smoke smell like coolant, it will be a somewhat sweet smell.

the heater core has a leak in it and yes it can get into the aircon system as its in the same system

black smoke is raw gas burning. a rich condition could be the cause---a bad oxygen sensor, a bad map sensor, a bad fuel pressure regulator, a plugged up air filter, or bad injector. if it was a oil problem then you can smell it. when after running til hot. shut off engine and rub finger around inside of tailpipe to tell! have a good one!!

White smoke on diesel engines, means water in combustion chamber. Blue smoke means oil.
In what condition was the filter you removed? How bad? Temperature issues? Missing coolant maybe? If yes, you might as well have an internal leak. Some gasket maybe. Check all you vital fluids levels. If anything missing, take the time to empty the engine oil on a can, and check the colour. If it will look like chocolate brown, then you do have a leak from the inside.

you can buy a deoderiser that kills all known airborn nasties,you spray it into the air inlet of any aircon unit,the only smell that it will NOT get rid of is cigarette smoke.that sticks to the filter/condenser and all the vents...nasty.

The new filter will not change the smell or filter smoke or much else. Just picks up outside dust,sort of.
May be under wiper cover/air intake cover. Open hood and check that out,on pass side.

I had similiar problem, took it into a shop and it was the cabin air filter was all dirty! id look into that! sounds exaclty like what mine had!

IF YOU HAVE AIR CON THEN YOU WILL HAVE A "CABIN FILTER" WHICH NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THEN USED A AIRCON CLEANER TO REMOVE THE BUGS THAT CAUSE MILDEW IN THE VENTS

professional cleaning sounds like your best deal unfortunatley with what you are describing it will cost @$400 to $500 to clean. If you decided to quit smoking it might take you about month and a half of your cig money to pay for the cleaning

No filter but Oust works pretty good if you spray it into the passenger side floor to have the a/c return **** it up and back through the vents.
