Had mechanicaic put in new conpressor and freon put in last week cost me 500.00 everything work fine
for three day blower stared to switch on and off, i have auto control a/c
thinking of changing blower resistor,my promblem is two parts prices for new resistor 300.00 high low end 180.00!!!!!!
would it be cheaper to get a pick a part?
and were is it located on the blower?
Automatic climate control uses a temperature sensor to detect cabin temp. I would look at that circuit for the problem, as it may be getting erratic readings from the sensor to the control unit, causes the blower to become confused to the air temperature in the car. You could probably find the entire climate control unit in a salvage yard to swap it out for a low price.
Its
faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is
controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not
working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.
It
can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower
motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.
