F-250 transmission wont shift write
BAD TRANNY.. BUT FIRST HAVE THE FILTER AND FLUID CHANGED.. ALSO THE FILTER UP IN THE VERY FRONT FOR THE TRANNY ALSO.. AUTOMATIC TRANNYS HAS 2 FILTERS.. COULD BE CLOGGED FILTERS HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE THE TRANNY BEEN SRV??

Yes PCM (powertrain control module). is the standard name established by the EPA for all engine control computers, on Ford it also controls the trans shifting.

HI !!! there usully one problem w/ this when thoesnt shfti right from firs to the second also takes more time is the Solenoid Pack in Rey. have computer tested and it wil tell you which has to be changr all this work inside the trnsmsion

there is the lemon law, has the factory field service Representative gotten involved in these repairs? if not do so, i am a 25 year veteran of a Ford service dept, i know how it works, I will say that by and large the Ford trucks are the beast aropund, sorry for your problems.

Is it starting out in 2nd. too? If so you may have a blown fuse or you tore some wires off. If the trany loses it's electrics it will go into the limp home mode. It will only have 2nd. and reverse. GM vehicles do the same thing.
