For any vehicle...Check your owners manual first and look at fuse diagram for heater fan blower. If fuse bad replace. There maybe also a fan blower relay in fuse box listed as well. You can replace those cheap. You may have an exact relay in fuse box for another system. If so borrow it and put in place of fan Blower relay plug in. Try fan... If No..Check connector wire to see if it has power. If no...fan turn on switch is bad...You could also run hot wire right from positive on Batt to fan blower motor. If blower works...your fan blower switch is bad...If no...your blower is bad...junk yards cheap...might as well get new one from auto store.

Smack it and see if it comes on. If it does then the motor brushes are bad. If it does not come on, check the fuses. If the fuses are ok, check the voltage on the plug to the motor.

The heater fan in 2008 uplander will not work

Does the switch works in other modes ( ac, def ) If not , ck power & ground at the fan itself in all modes., If OK R/R the fan. If the fan only loses power or ground in heater mode look toward the wiring------switch control. Good Luck.

Heater fan not operating

Most of the time when a heater blower quits working it is the blower switch that fails rather than the motor. Blower switch can be accessed in the dash panel.

BWM heater problems--display and switches working but no fan

your fan speed regulator located on your heater core box is bad if its just one or some of the speeds. if the fan does not work at all its either a bad connection to your fan speed regulator or the fan motor has quit. out

Heater wont work a fuse maybe? some how I doubt it. the rear window heater works. fan dead perhaps? no fan at all. not sure about heat.

Hi: Sounds like a possible heater resistor problem. First check to see if heater fan working, unplug heater under hood and put 12 volts to it from the battery with a wire (single black wire running to back of fan). If works then problem probably the resistor which is located on the fan housing under the hood to the right of the fan. The resistor has wires to it running from the heater fan, 2 - 7mm screws holding resistor in place, check resistor to see if any of the 3 elements are melted off, if so replace. Note: Rear window defrost has nothing to do with heater fan. Hope this helps...
