Question about 1995 Toyota Camry

Cannot find the fuel pump fuse on 95 toyota tercel

Dang car won't start. starter ok, not getting fuel, starts, but won't stay running without giving it a spray of ether. I believe it's the fuel pump fuse, but cannot find it.

Get a tester light and check all the fuses with the key on. If not I think it is the efi fuse. The fuel pump has a relay too. Pump is in the tank .

Remove the fuel line from the fuel rail. Put it in a container and turn the key on. If you don't get any fuel then I would look at your fuel filter first and then your pump. The pump should be installed under the back bench seat. In my car the pump gets power from the circuit opening relay not direct from a fuse. I would try and find a wiring diagram if everything else checks out good.

Won't start without ether...will run fine after starting...it's not the starter or battery...that stays charged....thinking fuel problem...a fuel pump is very exspensive so just trying to see if it is...

That engine uses a CPI fuel injection system. It quirks a minimum of 58 psi to start. As little as 1 psi will cause it not to start. Once it is running it requis less fuel pressure do to the poppet injectors being under vacuum. Check fuel pressure with a good gauge. If you see less that 58 psi replace the pump.

Needs a tune up! Try some new plugs and wires, new air filter and fuel filter. Is it the 2.2 litre?

Know 2001Saturn ran out of has, was getting fuel,but it started with starter spray but won't stay running,battery is almost fully dead ,could that be why I am now not getting any fuel

no as long as its running the alternator will suply electric with it running out of fuel the pump and filter would have pulled all the muck from inside the tank put plenty of fuel in maybe quarter of a tanks charge battery after a few days it should be ok but if not get fuel filter changed hope this helps ivan

starting fluid is a thing of the past. dont use it. this car doesnt have a carb, its a throttle body/ electronic fuel injection system. you most likely have a fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator issue. test the fuel pressure, should be anywheres from 35-50 psi

Can't get the car started. I believe is a fule line issue. Was running and will turn over with ether. Help please

May very well be a fuel issue if it wants to try and start on ether.
That have the quadrajet feedback carburator? Look down the through (hold the choke open) and work the throttle. Do you see fuel spray?
You can also try and disconnect the fule line between the pump and carb and crank it to see if fuel comes out. You may have a bad pump or simply a plugged filter.

well there is a fuel pressure regulator which keeps pressure on, even while engine is off. i would suspect it is bad, or you have something else leaking pressure off while the engine is not running.

Here is a pic of a schrader valve. They all look about the same.

If there isn't much pressure, cycle the ignition without turning the engine over and try again. If it is still weak, you may need a new fuel filter. If it is strong, you may have dirty or clogged fuel injectors.

It may be spark, but I'm inclined to think it is fuel related.
