This is a common issue. You have poorly adjusted inside lock rods, or water in your door lock actuator connector behind the door trim panel , or you need to cut one wire in the driver door wire harness to defeat the autolock function. Go here for info on what to do. See files and also links for this issue. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/villagerquest/

Re 1994 Mercury Villager: where is the fuse for the power locks? the manual shows everything but that one. We cannot lock the Van because it just auto unlocks itself within minutes so we want to take out...

go to villager quest yahoo group for more help.

I think you have a bad driver door lock actuator. You have 4 in vehicle and one usually casues this. Each door and hatch have them.

My Villager turns on but does not move at all when i put it in any gear help

THERES alt of things it can be but to start with is it a Manual or a AUTO-Matic.
if a Manual then its due to the either the Clutch plate has a bad problem and not driving the input shaft on the gear box.If its a Automatic then its either out of Auto matic gearbox oil, or the torque converter isent pumping oil around the box, or the Bands in the box are not working ot worn out .
But it sounds like lack of fluid so get it checked out first

Or let me have the full storie then we can work it out but i must have all the infoemation not a part of it.

Lost remote to disable alarm on 2000 mercury villager how can i disable it and start my van

If you have the factory alarm system, you can put your key into either door and lock and unlock the door, that signals the computer to deativate the alarm. If you have an aftermarket alarm system installed, it will have to be removed and the wiring that the alarm ties into must be restored to factory design.

1998 Camry with over 150000 miles will only drive in reverse

If auto-matic then its the forward band or pump is not working due to sump filter clogged up or the bands have burnt out or the pump carnt get oil..
IF its Manual then its the selector shafts broken which would be 1000 to1 ..
So take its a Auto-matic so get it looked at or remove the auto sump on the g/box and remove the filter and if clean its a auto repair shop job . if dirty then wash in petrol and refit and refill with new fluid ,,start and test if ok then you have done good IF not then its a bigger job. Sorry mate

My van's doors keep locking by themselves

either you have water in the door lock actuator connecotrs in one of the doors. or a misadjusted lock rod for the inside lock switch or a wire shorting out in one of the doors (for the lock actuator).
This was an issue for earlier models through 1997. If no luck with those, you will have to cut a wire in the driver door lock actuator harness that will eliminate you being able to lock or unlock all doors at once with the key in hte driver door lock cylindr.
