2007 Mitsubishi Glxr Triton running on limp mode after sucking in smoke

After cleaning Mac sensor it seemed to run fine though every couple of days engine light is displayed and reverts back to limp mode. I have x 2 fault codes of PO191 and PO652. Was hoping that there was a rethink process to rectify. Key on off sect. Any help appreciated Thanks

P0191 fuel rail pressure sensor circit
p0652 sensor1 low supply voltage
there first one is possibly a loose connection.
The second is the code for bad gas pedal sensor
replace sensor for gas pedal /check connector at the fuel pressure regulator

SOURCE: 2004 Mitsubishi Colt 1.1 Engine management light & code P0122

My girlfriends car has just started with the same problem, a limp home from the garage, a sleep over night and als well next day, for a while... I spoke to Mitsubishi and they have told me the TPS (throttle positioning sensor) is on the accelorator pedle assembly. There PN for this is MN125791 and its circa £88 + VAT. After exhausting all other options I may attempt this replacement and will advise the results.

One or two things you blew your transmission or you blew a sensor inside of your transmission.

2004 XC70 has been off the road over two years. Put a new battery in it, ran fine for a couple of days, then threw code p2111 throttle sensor stuck and rough idle also known is limp mode. Erase code and it...

You might find that the throttle sensor which is electronic and part of the accelerator pedal has become unresponsive due to lack of use.i had this problem with a ford maverick which had been sat idle for a few months. And this caused the engine management light to come on and throw into limp mode.my cure was to press the pedal up and down quite hard with the engine switched off.also did this to the clutch pedal.cured the problem but every so often for the first year of regular use it would repeat.so I just pumped the pedal fully up and down whilst engine was off.no more limp modes.

Has anyone put a v8 diesel engine in a triton

you will need to replace the entire drivetrain when going from a gas to diesel because of the larger engine and extra torque.

Mitsubishi 4D56 engine will not start. Blows fumes into top pan. Behaves like the exhaust and intake are interchanged. Engine turns in the right direction when cranked. Timing is in tact.

Turning in the right direction, does not mean it is in time, have this checked, but check the e g r valve to see if it is stuck open,if not,the valves may be stuck open,or out of time.

2006 Jetta TDI Black SMOKE

"MAS" sensor, thank you...when you unhooked it you "faulted" the ECM, returning to "limp back" mode...Injectors go wide open...fouling the MAS, and possibly others and the problem occurs again...and again...It runs OK when you're on the interstate because you have max air pressure in the plenum-tract. I'm afraid you'll continue this unless you spend the money to have it diagnosed. I do NOT recommend the dealer, maybe a local mechanic with diesel/import exp?
Good Luck
P.S. I believe you have more than one filter...try running Premium Diesel if available in your area for a couple tanks.
