Question about Cars & Trucks
2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LS Crew cab. no low beam headlight new bulb, fuse is good. Hi beam works, plug socket does not register voltage on a volt meter, everything else works, where does it separate for RT. and LT. side.

Check first the fuse inside the car. There are two 10A fuses for the headlights (a single one in the model with twin headlight), check also if there is a 30A fuse for the headlight dimmer. The dimmer (DLR) should be fuse 17. Check also the head light relay and the DLR relay located under the hood near to the windshield wiper reservoir, they should read HEAD and DLR. This should be marked HEAD.
I tried to scan a wiring diagram from the service manual. Here the picture.
