When cold the car starts and seams to run fine. Then when car is warmed up throttle cuts out when applied. I can clearly hear the fuel pump running and the fuel filter is new. took the cat off to see if that was bad. Checked the timing, coil, wires, cap, rotor, voltage but still the problem persists. the car has not been sitting unused as it has been a daily driver for past 2 years. Please help thx

It sounds like the number 2 injector is hung open.
It will dump fuel and cause all sorts off issues with the ECU.
You should ohm that injector and compare it with the others to see if it is wildly different. If so, change it out and retest.

This truck has 2 ignition shstems,One of the modules is malfunctioning. follow the primary wiring from distributor to the ignition modules closeby. Disconnect one at a time untill problem found.
